We completely enjoyed the food in this restaurant.  The mixed platter gave an excellent variety and provided a great sampling of what the restaurant is capable of.  The service was attentive but not at all overwhelming.  We highly recommend this restaurant as it became one of our best dinners in Amsterdam.

Makan - the best Indonesian restaurant in the Netherlands, inspired and combined with Dutch flavors, fresh gado-gado, spicy kernels, mouth-watering all kinds of small stir-fry, and impressive cocktails inspired by spices, Chinese herbs and plants. Must try chef Rosmina&#39;s unique rijsstafel (rice table meal) - a wide variety of dishes from all over Indonesia!

Wanted to love this place, but the food was not great.  Reggie was a good sommelier, and the wines were good.  The ravioli was not good, dry and bland.  The hen seemed like it had been murdered under a heat lamp with a dehydrated scallion as its last best friend dying in the desert.  The sea bass was good according to our other family members.  No one asked us if we liked the food.  We didn&#39;t.  The restaurant itself is a nice atmosphere.  I wouldn&#39;t eat here again.

Just one word: wonderful! One of the best restaurant ever. Een aanrader in Amsterdam. Top service. It was very nice to dine under the trees next to the water. I recommend also the prosecco.

It was such a busy day for the stuff. the sun was out and terraces were full! So we had to sit inside and the waiting time was exceedingly long. But the food was good! Thanks

Great place at the canal with the typical shared platter concept and Arabic dishes. Definitely would visit again.

Delicious authentic Turkish cuisine, kind owners, everything perfect, greatly recommended. Nice atmosphere near the canal, will definitely return.

Great find, cosy little place, nice staff and delicious food! So much to choose from the menu. Many vegetarian options too. We visited with our sons ( both 18) and we all had a great time
